"Dr. Melvin has been my Psychologist for 18 years! He is by far the best I've ever had the privilege to know. He makes you feel like you really matter to him because you do. He will go above and beyond to listen to you and help you work through whatever this life has thrown your way. He has been here for me thru thick and thin. He really cares about everyone who walks thru his door. He makes you feel incredibly comfortable and able to share things that you can't tell anyone else. He has saved my life more times than I can count. I wouldn't be here today if it wasn't for him. He is the most compassionate person I've ever known. He lets me cry out whatever I need to and then helps me figure out how to move on when I'm ready. He never rushes me and I can repeat the most painful moments in my life over and over again if I need to. He is so patient with me. I've never had anyone in my life like him. I've seen several other Psychologists and Psychiatrists who've treated me like a "patient" and that's fine because I am but Dr. Melvin has always made me feel like I was more than just his patient like the sister he never had. I hope he never decides to retire because I'll be just lost. Being able to dump all my problems on him and leave them at his door has meant more to me than I can even put into words. I would recommend him to anyone without hesitation. He has been my rock and continues to be to this day. I've told all my friends and family about him.
