" My son saw Dr. B Vernau on March 18, 2022, for knee pain. He is 17. He ordered an XR Orthoenthgenogram .I was billed $1043 for it instead of $91 for in-network imaging. The "study" found an almost 2 cm difference between the 2 legs even though my son is not limping, and Dr. Vernau didn't observe anything during the tests: walk, run... in the hallway. The examination was perfect. However, he concluded an LLD symptom and recommended another visit with a surgeon at the CHOP, Dr. Horn, for a possible procedure. They got it all WRONG. First, the x-ray is inaccurate when in pain because of hip imbalance. My son had chronic tendonitis, which was more acute because of ski riding and jumping. $3200 for NOTHING. This is a business, not medicine. I got an exam and a sole for posture correction (no lift) for $180 in France. This is a wrecked system when curing becomes cashing. $$$ "
