Dr. Zonaira Shabbir Memon, DO

I went in to get a referral for a cardiologist. Chest pain for three months. I brought a hand written summary of my medical history including diagnosis of right branch bundle block. She did a cursory exam and told me she would do an ekg before writing a referral. When she looked at the exg she told me, "This indicates that you are having a heart attack and you need to go to the emergency room right away." $2,400 later I was told that there was no sign of heart attack and my cardiologist looked at the same ekg and said, "This is the right branch bundle block diagnosed in 2015." Dr. Memon did not take the time to look over my records and ekg, which was available to her, nor did she examine me further and do any more diagnoses before sending me off for unnecessary treatment in an emergency room. Finally, you would think that a doctor who sent a patient to the emergency room with a potential heart attack would take the time to make a call in a few days to follow up on how the patient was doing. I think that her handling of me was less than competent.
