I saw Dr. Pelaez for a small problem while I was traveling. He was helpful, explained things, but said that as I would need a follow up visit if he went further, I should see a specialist once I got back home.  He applied some gel/cream to the area, and sent me on my way.  I later received an $1,100 bill for "treatment" (separate from the visit charges) for that cream application.  He said upfront the cream would not heal anything, simply like Neosporin.  Nice guy and all but feel like he could have cared a bit more to not waste my money on something that wasn't necessary or effective - or at least ask first.
