Dr. Marcella A. Frausto, MD

Dr. Frausto is a very straight-forward, no B.S. doctor that has absolutely no problem saying things the way they need to be said in the interest of your child’s health. She is very thorough and proactive at identifying possible issues that your child may face. She recommended specialists, therapy, and tried to find ways to make my life easy so that my son could have the support that he needs. I once had to call her outside of business hours and she called me back within the hour. She is patient with my oldest son who has anxiety going to the doctor due to a horrible experience with a past doctor. Both of my sons are comfortable in her office and I have piece of mind as I can tell she is very knowledgeable in her field. 

Her office staff is AMAZING. They take the time to connect with you and remember you when you show up to the following appointments. I have ZERO complaints about this doctor and her staff. I feel that some people just don’t have the stomach to be told information without being coddled. My son now has the resources he needs because she was so on top of it and quick to communicate. I am grateful.

Dr. Frausto has been my daughter's doctor since she was born. First 2 years, she was a great doctor, understanding, and always available, but these last 2 years she refuses to prescribe medication if daughter is sick. "Use honey for sore throat." And tells me to "Stop chasing my daughter with a thermometer when she has a fever." When calling after hours for a wet barking cough, she wrote it off as a cold when in fact it was the flu. When her staff said my daughter passed her hearing and vision screening, the doctor said my child had 50/20 vision and I must seek a vision specailist. When testing motor skills with a pen, my daughter was not in a comfortable position to write and had difficulty holding the pen correctly. Doctor said my 4 y.o. was at an age 3 development. And God forbid you take your child to an urgent care clinin during her closed hours. "They're not real doctors and don't know what they're doing." I now walk out of her office livid and frustrated at her bedside manner. Her "diagnoses" always contradict themselves and she makes me feel like a horrible parent about my child's health.
