He was very direct and did not make me wait very long.  He was very detailed when he gave me after care instructions.  I was able to get back up and back to my training.  I am in high school and liked that I did not have to sit and wait very long, and was in and out in 1 hr.

Dr. Schnars was very attentive and provided us with outstanding service and his staff was very patient and courteous.  We also have a very short wait, to see the doctor, unlike the 3-4 hours at other places in Atlanta Metro Area and the Augusta Area Ortho Doctor's I have been to.  He also offered other methods of pain management, so as to not interfere with other medications I was currently taken.  I am not someone who does well with strong pain medication and he made sure to take note of that and offer alternative medication and methods.

At first I was a bit intimidated, however I prefer a doctor who tells you like it is.  I have always been a runner and being retired military, you could say my bones and joints have seen better days.  After 3 knee surgeries, by 3 other doctors, this doctor finally go it right.  After almost 6 years of not being able to run for long distances past 1 mile, I can now run and run with very little discomfort. He was very sweet and attentive to also keeping my husband informed every step of the way, during the surgery and afterwards.  

I was also pleased that he was more attentive to explaining things in such a way that I could understand and was fantastic with my 16 year old daughter, when she broke her ankle during a cross country run, on her varsity team.  

My father-in-law has also started to see him and has also grown very fond of him and thinks he is the bee's knee's.  We will not be changing any time in the future.
