I was very excited to find this neurologist since he was rated well, was close to home, and was able to see me almost five months sooner than the neurology department at Mercy (although it was still about a two month wait for services).  However, nothing else about this provider was positive for me.  During my initial appointment, he was too busy writing, erasing, and rewriting notes to really ask me about the progression of my symptoms and to listen to my concerns.  He dismissed all of my major concerns and instead focused on one minor symptom I rarely experience, sending me to Quest for labwork related to an autoimmune disorder that can be associated w/ this symptom.  I was told to call the office in about two weeks for results from the test.  I l developed some additional concerning symptoms about two weeks after my office visit and left a voicemail w/ the office that received no response.  When I called again the next week, I was told to call back the following week due to the doctor being on vacation.  When calling the next week (so now two weeks after I started suffering from these additional symptoms), I spoke w/ someone in the office about my new symptoms and was told that I'd receive a response ASAP.  I have yet to hear anything back a week and a half later.  Additionally, I see that they added the autoimmune disorder for which I was tested to my list of diagnoses in my e-chart (despite my later receiving negative test results from Quest).  To say that I'm incredibly disappointed with the service all around is an understatement - I have never received such poor care (or lack thereof) from any medical provider.  I'm glad that I still have a pending appointment with Mercy and would encourage others to look elsewhere.
