Never in my life have I dealt with a medical "professional" lacking in bedside manners and so incompetent. She abruptly dropped me while I was in a very vulnerable state. She did the bare minimum in sending a termination letter listing a couple of "referrals". Zero help in transitioning into new care. Lied about her technology problems so she could be a coward and only have to tell me over the phone while all of the previous sessions were video. Never set boundaries from the beginning. Trivialized my feelings...i.e. after I told her that I'd lost 10 lbs between sessions, she said, "do you know how many women would love to lose weight like that?" Confirmed that we'd be going into psychodynamic therapy previous season only to drop the bomb of betrayal the next. I actually feel sorry for her that she'd treat someone this way. She's like a Single A baseball player attempting to play in the major leagues. The sad irony is that she picked a profession where some empathy is required. She shared way too much about her personal life so the focus was on her and not where it should have been, me. The only thing I learned from her is what bad therapy is all about. Her processing notes after each session incl. about two sentences. She threw together a generic plan after the 3rd or 4th session just to cover her behind and never shared it with me.
