Dr. Emily Schneider prescribed to me while I was 21 weeks pregnant with twins for my first yeast infection Diflucan 2 doses of 150mg for a mild first time yeast infection when I was 21 weeks pregnant with twins. I started funneling and she denied any wrongdoing. She actually tired to cover it up. My children almost did not survive and have birth defects because of this wrong doing. She lied to my husband and to my face about it being safe and told me to relax when she prescribed it to me. She also stated later when I came back to her and asked why I was going into labor and the other OBGYN’s thought my kids were going to have cerebral palsy that OBGYN’s do not know anything after I saw 6 other OBGYN’s to see what caused the funneling. When she could of been honest and helped my children recover I do not want money. I wanted honesty so my children could receive the best care. She should not be making any decisions for anyone because it is well known not to give Diflucan to pregnant women. Check Pfizer drug label fact page 19. The USA is the only first world country that allows this to be prescribed to pregnant women. She never disclosed it could cause any harm to my babies. I would of never taken it and she knows that. She cares more about her reputation than her patients and their children. I hope you never prescribe another pregnant woman Diflucan. Please do better! I trusted you and spent a lot money believing you were educated to prevent this from happening to my children and myself. Please educate yourself and your staff and DO NOT ever prescribe this to another pregnant women especially without disclosing it can cause fetal harm!!
