During one visit, we arrived on time for our appointment. Michelle was not in her office. When she arrived she asked if we had seen a woman in the waiting room. After we advised we had not, the woman showed up. Michelle asked if we could wait. When we asked if she meant the length of a full session she said yes. We were unable to wait to be later getting out than normal. Before leaving, I asked for a work excuse to show I was there that I am required to take to my employer. She looked at me and said, "You need an excuse for the appointment that you didn't have?" I thought this was rude seeing as to how I was there for my appointment on time and beyond my control was not able to stay. I still had to show I was there and did not just leave work early for no reason. On several occasions, even after writing down comments during sessions, she would still ask the same questions we had already answered. I felt like we weren't always being heard. There was also an occasion when she had to take time from a session to answer a text from her child. On two occasions, I was the first appointment of the day and she was running late. The first day she apologized and the second day stated she was stuck in an elevator. One of the days she ran late, upon coming in wanted to discuss what I was wearing before we could start the session. I had a stack of things I wanted to discuss and did not have time to do so. The final issue that made my mind up about not going back was when I showed up for an appointment and she never showed up. I texted to say I had to leave to go to work. She responded saying that she was teaching at Harvard and did not think we had an appointment. I had made it the last time I was in her office being that I would be out of town the following week and scheduled it the week after. I feel that I need someone who is more prompt and also seems more professional. I also found it hard to see this provider as she does not do weekend appointments and 9am or 5:30 pm were the earliest and latest appointments available. I had to take time off work each week to go and miss pay and in addition had a $20 co pay. I also had an instance when I sent a text asking to see her the same evening of that day if available or the following Monday. She responded she would get back to me after checking her schedule. Monday morning rolled around without hearing a word. She later texted that she could see me that Wednesday. I feel that I will look for someone else who seems to be prompt and who I can have their undivided attention. This was a very frustrating process to me when I was in need of someone
