Dentists - Sherman, TX

"We visited this dr after recommendation from other dr with x-ray. My child had only one cavity. For that Reena recommended general anesthesia to fix it that would cost $1500 to 2000 along with insurance. When we said we were not comfortable with anesthesia she says if your child breaks her leg she will need one. Reena didn't have 5 mins to spare to talk to us. She just came to scare us. When asked if its could be fixed by laughing gas , she said she can't guarantee it. It has 50/50 chances. Even though she did't find any more cavities with physical examination or in x-ray. She said she will fix if she finds more when she is cleaning with general anesthesia. Please avoid this dr if you want to save trauma and unnecessary procedures to your child. We got orchids tooth fixed with other dr without anesthesia. The good reviews are paid or done by friend and family from same with change of name. Check them u will find they are fake."

"I had a bad mouth infection from a different dentist tooth extraction. Dr Evans was called to ER, and I didn't know him or anything going on.He treated my mouth in surgery and checked on me daily after that.Very Nice doctor!"

"This dentist charges the MAX rates allowed by In-Network Insurance and will consistently suggest and perform services not allowed by your insurance. They also charge a "Co-Insurance Pay" with every individual service provided, NOT per office visit. (Not sure if everyone knows this is possible) I made a special trip to their office following a bill that was unexpectedly HUGE. I asked that in the future that they provide an estimate of the cost of services not covered by Aetna. Fair is fair, if I am dumb enough to bring my five kids to their office then I should at least know up front what I am going to get taken for. At least I was making a choice, I thought. On our last visit they gave me an estimate that was HALF of the amount they eventually billed me for. So in addition to the 300.00(ish) they estimated, and I paid at that time, they billed me an additional 327.00 dollars. Of course 3 out of the four services they provided were not (or not fully covered) covered by my insurance for my son and all 3 of the services for my daughter were not covered. Be advised if you decide to use them you will pay FULL POP for your visits. I got a call today from their accounting department person, we will call her Mrs. Condescension. I asked her about the bill and I guess she expected me to only be looking at the bill she sent me. She said basically (Hard to communicate her tone,.... shrill maybe) you owe 327.00 pay it. I asked her to itemize what the bill was for and she balked a bit. I then went down the list of charges they submitted to the insurance. She said well I cant see that, I can only see what the "patient owes". When I asked her why I was paying an co-insurance fee of 30.00 per service she "suggested I call the insurance company". I told her all these charges represented the total amount the "patient owes" she basically ignored me. She went into a brief "better than you" type of speech about how no other customer had complained or left because of billing. (Ill bet that is only because most people don't have six kids and look at the bills very close). IF YOU USE THESE FOLKS I WOULD SUGGEST YOU GO BACK AND LOOK AT YOUR BILLS. I told her that I had gone in there and asked that we get an estimate of charges we would be responsible for and she launched into another condescending inane explanation about how they had given me an estimate. REMEMBER THE ESTIMATE WAS HALF OF WHAT THEY "ESTIMATED". I said to my wife who was standing by listening to the call that we should just pay them and be done with them. She to the "sister better than us" tone again and in so many words told us if we did not like the way they billed then we should find a different dentist. THESE FOLKS ARE A MAJOR FAIL!!"
