"I had been a patient of Dr. Mina's since 2020. Until recently, I was fairly satisfied with the care I received, but had begun to feel as though something was amiss both with my health and her interest in addressing my concerns. I recently requested she submit a lab request to check levels that surely should not have given her pause, yet she very matter of factly denied my request. Instead, she told me it was an issue for my GYN to address, which I knew was inaccurate. When I told her my GYN had also denied the request and referred me back to her, she did not reconsider, which left me at a crossroads. I then decided it was time to find another PCP. Dr. Mina is very nice person, and is knowledgeable on many levels; however, her failure to meet me at my point of need was very disappointing and disheartening. I am not the perfect patient, but I do care about my health, and strive to age well and be as healthy as I possibly can. Thankfully, I have found a new PCP, who was very willing to listen to my concerns, run the labs I had requested of Dr. Mina (and my previous GYN) and has already identified a couple of medical concerns that Dr. Mina failed to diagnose. Though they are serious at this point, had I not decided to transfer to another PCP, I shutter to think how my health could have been adversely affected. In the future, I hope Dr. Mina will provide her existing and new patients with the healthcare they expect and deserve. The staff at the Alliance location, where I had been going, are all professional and personable. It was a pleasure to visit and interact with them during my visits."
