"So disappointed by the way that I was treated by their billing department. Front desk girl and Dr were both awesome sadly this place didnt want to honor that it is on my list of Tenet Preferred Providers and pushed me to rather pay my balance off out of pocket for a "bigger discount" My visit shouldve been charged at 5$ after insurance instead I was billed 70$ out of pocket. I confronted their billing department and they didnt want to honor my insurance and give me a refund of the previous 2 visits which I payed for from out of pocket. Billing/Insurance lady kept rolling her eyes like I didnt understand insurance how insurance works even though I file insurances myself at the clinic that I work. Oh and get this, it was AFTER I called Aetna to call them and confirm with them while I was on the line that I did in have have coverage at 90/10 instead 80/20 after deductible like they said I which is why I payed out of pocket for a "better rate." And to top it off the representative of Aetna confirmed to me that their billing department never called them to confirm what the coverage was and they had told me that they had just called and they were correct. Aetna rep called her out on her lie and she went on to say that they verified online with them which was also a lie. Sad to say this because Dr Ontiveros when he aligned me the first visit seemed like he was good but I will not be going back again and filling an insurance fraud complaint with Aetna."
