"I have seen Dr. Slaughter for two separate issues over the last few years. He found the problems I was having and corrected them both times. I especially liked that he showed me the MRI that no other ENT had bothered to show me that indicated what problems I had. The other ENTs had all told me I didn't have a problem despite that fact that I couldn't breath out of one nostril and had sinus headaches that sometimes lasted weeks. Dr. Slaughter worked quickly, efficiently and was really careful about causing me the minimum amount of discomfort during and after the procedures. I have not had problems since, and the maintenance program I am on for my sinus issues are steroid-free (which I love)."

"I have chronic sinusitis and decided to see what options were available to me for relief. I found Dr. Thompson's name on my insurance's website as a covered provider and called to make an appt. I called and was told that Dr. Thompson was no longer with the practice in Dallas, but there was a PA named Lane Thurston who was in my network. I asked who they used for CTs and was told they were done in the office and were covered in network. My appt. was March 5 - I did get a CT scan, but there was no physical exam. The recommendation was a balloon sinuplasty procedure. I felt strange about the experience and decided to have a 2nd opinion. I used 2nd MD. It took them over 2 weeks to get my record - the office said that "their fax machine wasn't working". The 2nd opinion supported the recommendation, so I called to make the appt. That is when I found out the MD who was in the office was out of network. Unbelievable. I've called and spoken with a Kim Martinez and Erica - both work with the practice in customer relations. Not only has the service been awful and info has been inaccurate, I am concerned about the quality of the care I received."
