"Had two good sessions with Amy Titzer. Let her know after our second session that I was intentionally scheduling our next for a certain date/time. Days after scheduling, she moved the appointment to the day before what I scheduled and at the same time of day. This was done without any notice and without my consent. I emailed twice before the 24 hour cancelation deadline to see why the appointment was changed. I even checked her schedule and saw that the time I originally put was still listed as open. With no response after 2 emails, I decided to cancel and seek out another therapist. So two appointments and copays down the drain as I have to start over again. Really not happy with the lack of communication through this."

What is Counseling?

Counseling is a type of professional guidance for handling problems in life. There are many types of counselors, and they serve an incredibly wide variety of people with all kinds of different needs. The goals of counseling will be different for each person, but generally they include an increased sense of well being, decreased distress and anxiety, resolved crisis, and increased ability and function in daily life.
