Neurologists - Long Branch, NJ

"Back in July, I had an auto accident. As part of my treatment, I had been going to Shore Neuropsychology in Red Bank, NJ. Through my auto insurance, they got me back on my feet and feeling good. At the end of our 16 sessions, they gave me a cognitive test because of my age and my loss of memory at times. I thought it was a good idea since I have a family history of Alzheimer's. The test showed that in certain areas I was above average and others below. We realized this wasn't anything to do with the auto accident and they suggested I see a Neurologist who would order an MRI to see if certain areas of the brain might be affected. So I made the appointment with Dr. Davis's office completed their online forms. I recently went off Medicare and join Aetna Elite HMO which would cover the cost of the visit and the MRI. Their rude receptionists, both told me once I mentioned the words Auto Accident they couldn't see me. They told me they don't handle auto accident cases. I explained over and over again, it is not a result of the auto accident it was the findings from the test. I showed them my Aetna HMO Card and she looked at the small date on the card which reads: "Printed On 11/16/2018, somehow she thought the policy expired than. I told her over and over again I just switched to this plan at the end of the year during the three month period you have to change plans. She kept insisting even though they are on the Aetna provider plan they wouldn't see me. I will, of course, report this to Aetna, who should remove them from their plan and make sure to publish this review on other sites too. I publish 4 online magazines and write hundreds of articles and have never, I mean never treated this way anywhere. They should be ashamed and fire their incompetent staff."
