"Doc is excellent. This staff is not what it less than it once was. i had my yearly exam and ordered glasses and was told I didn't owe anything and came home. A few minutes latter I got a call from his staff telling me she made a mistake & I would have to pay $125 on a credit card before they could order my glasses. I did it & when I got my insurance statement I see they didn't charge anything but the eye exam of $48 to insurance and they would have paid more. Made me real annoyed. May not go back due to "mistake"."

"I saw this provider a number of times for difficulty with my vision. Diagnosis was dry eye. I was sent to a dry eye clinic within the Regional Eyecare practice in Winghaven. They proceeded to order drops that were out of network and cost $700. They tried other drops that were $400 and $300. Then tried a mail order for $59, though they would not proceed. I finally went to an opthamologist who also diagnosed dry eye. He gave me different drops that my Medicare plan covered. Also changed the lens in my left eye and I am now seeing so much better. I will not be returning to Regional Eyecare. They also ordered me new glasses and told me my vision would be so much better. They changed the astigmatism in my right eye and I could not wear the glasses without a headache. They then changed the lenses back to what they were. So....I really did not need new lenses as they did not help my vision like they said. They just used up my benefit and new replacement lens ordered by my new eye doctor was not covered. Regional just seems to use your benefits to their own benefit. "
