Primary Care Doctor - Fridley, MN

"This doctor should lose her license. She blatantly lied in my charting to cover herself for a formal complaint I submitted. She is a threat to patient safety by lying in her notes. She stated she spoke with me in detail, stating things I apparently said, and discharging me when I still had concerning symptoms and was unable to eat solid food or go to the bathroom. I told the nurse that I was not comfortable being discharged and would like to speak with her before returning home. The doctor told the nurse that she would try to come to talk to me but would not make any promises that it would happen. My husband and I waited 30 minutes to speak with her, and she refused to come to see me. The nurse asked her again, and she proceeded to get irritated with the nurse making her uncomfortable and unsure of what to do. I am absolutely disgusted this was allowed to happen. When I filed my complaint, the head nurse told me I was not the first person that day to file a complaint regarding inadequate care and being discharged without a proper care plan once I got home. The nurse also stated that this doctor has a history of this behavior when caring for patients with my demographics (I have a disability). The things she wrote in my chart that were untrue may cause me serious harm when seeking care in the future. This speaks volumes in regards to her character and ethics. I hope this review will prevent future patients harm and that the hospitals she works for a look into this issue to protect their patients. "
