"Dr. Abramovici was a member of the prenatal staff that attended my daughter during her pregnancy. She was called in specifically when other staff members could not accurately interpret a difficult ultrasound. She immediately came in with efficiency and accurately interpreted the reading. Dr. Abramovici directed my daughter to go Straight to the hospital to deliver - Do Not even stop at home to pick up anything! So grateful Dr. A was there that day, she is an excellent physician, kind and skilled! Highly Recommend "

"Dr. Dorel Abramovici 954.377.0370 4101 NW 4th Street, #309 Plantation, FL 33317 On June 3rd I walked into the frigid cold waiting room at of Dr. Abramovici’s office at Sinai Prenatal, LLC. As I looked around there were about 10-12 pregnant women waiting to be seen. The room was quiet, as there was not a television to keep the waiting women entertained or a radio to break up the silence. There was tension in the room, as this is a practice that concentrates on high risk pregnancy. I sat down and looked for a magazine to read to take my mind off of the testing I was there to receive –there was not a single magazine in the entire room. After I signed in and was given a clipboard with 8 pages of paperwork to fill out, I found one empty chair by the front door and began filling in my blanks. The receptionist desk had a frosted glass window where upon seeing your shadow standing and waiting in front of it, they would open the window to give you paperwork, insurance information, etc… Behind this window was a large desk area with 3-4 staff members chatting with each other; We, the patients, in the waiting room on “our side” of the glass could hear every word of the staff’s conversations. “She’s a fu@king retard!” “She’s a horrible mother!” “I hate it when SHE comes in!” Were some of the things we could hear the staff members saying about other patients. It was shocking. When I heard the word “retard” I looked up from my phone thinking “I did not just hear that??” and when I saw the looks on the other faces in the room, I knew I had. It’s difficult being lumped into the category of “high risk pregnancy” for no other reason than you’re over 35. It’s difficult getting screened for genetic disorders with thoughts of Downs Syndrome and other abnormalities floating in your head… It’s difficult to hear staff members speaking so terribly about the patients that fund their very business. But what was most difficult was hearing “fu@king retard” come from the mouth of a staff member. Once I was seen by a nurse and my ultrasound was over, Dr. Abramovici came into the room for about 30 seconds. He shook my hand, said “Congratulations, everything looks fine.” He didn’t ask me if I had any questions, he didn’t even say my name. My interaction with him was literally under a minute and very underwhelming. This practice should be ashamed of itself. I hope that all pregnant women in the south Florida area avoid this office at all costs. "
