Primary Care Doctors - Gilroy, CA

"I had to choose a new PCP due to a change in my insurance and decided to go with Dr. Wong. I scheduled my first appointment to do a regular checkup and discuss some issues I've been having with post nasal drip and my throat. Dr. Wong was just ok....Honestly I felt like he really didn't care about me or my concerns. When I told him what I was having issues with, he asks, "so do you want to see an ENT?". I told him I would like to try a few things to relieve it first before going that route so he prescribed me Claritin and Flonase. Fast forward about a month later I still have really annoying post nasal drip and notice that my throat hurts a little more on one side. I also noticed a little whitish/yellow spot on my left tonsil. With much hesitation I decided to call Dr. Wong and make an appointment. I get to my appointment on time and tell him what is going on and he asks me if I want to take antibiotics??? I tell him, I don't know....what do you think the issue is?? He tells me to drink more water and eat fruits and also to take vitamin D because my vitamin D is low. He looks in my ears and my mouth and just says..."not bad"..I ask him again what he think it could be and could not get an answer. I feel my time and money was wasted with Dr. Wong and that he really did not care about trying to build a relationship with a NEW patient. Will never ever come back."

"Went in early for 2017 for 2 issues. Towards the end of 2017 I had my tests done, but there was no follow up on what the results of the tests were or how issue #1 resulted in. It's now October 2018 and I realize it's coming up on a year since I had the labwork done and I have yet to hear any results. They prematurely sent me a text for reviewing them after my initial visit in 2017, but I didn't want to provide a review until after issues #1 and 2 had some results. I think there's no follow up, which really means they don't care?"
