She's my favorite doctor for two reasons: 1) She spends a great deal of time with me, usually about an hour, to make sure I understand everything about my health test results and treatment options, and 2) she takes a holistic approach to medicine, open to exploring both traditional and non-conventional approaches, such as herbal remedies and acupuncture."

"I made my appointment for a follow up after I had surgery to remove a kidney. This was my first appointment with Joyce, but not with the clinic (a different person every time). She was running late and very rude about me having a friend there with me taking notes. She made it clear that she did not have time to address anything regarding my surgery (even though that was what I made the appointment for). She tried to order labs that were done by the surgeon a week prior, she got very upset when I said no, she could look at the results of the labs from the previous week. She said she didn't understand why I was there & she couldn't help me if I was refusing labs. She tried to put me on a prescription that would have cause irreparable damage to my one remaining kidney. She told she she had other patients waiting on her and I should make another appointment and walked out. Total time with her was less than 15 minutes. "
