"I was intending on following her after she retired from Henry Ford to her independent practice with headway. The first appointment with her private practice I had to cancel due to my child having mycoplasma pneumonia. Prior to I had seen her for a list of issues and I thought she was nice, for talk therapy only, until this past year when I lost my baby. Her last day at HF she said she believed Henry Ford was mentally abusing me during a traumatic time while I was pregnant during my appointment with her. I didn't want to go in depth with everything I went thru until she left the practice, we both agreed that was best. I hadn't even seen her at her new practice yet, the day I had an appointment my son came down with mycoplasma pneumonia and needed to be seen so I rescheduled my appointment with her to get him in. When the new appointment came around I never received a link to sign up or in, when I reached out to her she said I wasn't even on her books(she gave me 3 different dates in the text) and then said she was referring me back to Henry Ford because of scheduling conflicts. When I asked for a referral to someone outside of Henry Ford she just continued to give me Henry Ford's contact information. Her being my therapist would have known I wasn't comfortable there and had been slowly transferring out of the system after the trauma with my unborn son, she saw me for over 5 years. She did this memorial day weekend without warning. I literally just lost my baby a month ago, and do not feel like she had my best interest at heart considering she never scheduled me in the first place, and had told me I was being abused by this facility. I'm incredibly let down by someone I thought was there to help me and I thought I could trust. Considering her opinion and the trauma I had endured, if she was a good therapist she wouldn't have sent me back to someone she believed to be abusing me. The worst part of this all is she was with me thru the whole pregnancy and situation, not once did she counsel me or give me resources when I lost my baby, I saw her during that time, however no support groups or anything were recommended.
