Pulmonologist - Staten Island, NY

"He became very nasty when I asked him why he ordered a C-pap machine without explaining to me why. I went to him because a previous chest scan showing nodules in my lungs. All he said about the scan was he had nothing to compare to, and we will do it again in 3 months. But he was more concerned on pushing a C-pap machine even though I told him I did have sleep apnea. II received a call from a medical supply company asking when I would like my machine delivered and I was shocked! When I called him to question him why he ordered it he threaten me and told me if i didn't want the machine, he was going to report me. I went to his office to get my file with text results, and his notes to bring to a real pulmonologist. When I got home and saw what he wrote and I was so upset. He had written a bunch of lies about me and how I feel asleep in the middle of the day and more.. This is the report he sent to the sleep center and I was pre-judged before I even had the sleep study. I believe in my opinion, he is not a qualified pulmonologist. His over all rating is less than a star !!!!"

"Love the doc. Had been seeing him 12-13 years. As of 11/18/16, Dr Ciccone is no longer part of that practice. He is now practicing in NJ . The AETNA plan my employer instituted as 1/1/17 doesn't allow me to see him in New Jersey... The only problem I ever had was he always ran late for appointments."
