"I have gone here for 2 years now, just for general medications. The billing at this place is RIDICULOUS. The "medical practices" are a joke. I am 30 years old and have been taking adhd medication since i was 10. This office randomly "required" a urine test every 3 months.... Never in all the doctors I have had, was this a requirement to "make sure im taking my medication properly". When I pushed back I was told its law? It's not. I looked up both state and federal. So its a cash grab. I did it anyway because I needed my meds and didn't have time to find a new Dr. Today I received a nice $800 bill for said urine test. $800.... They switched labs and used an out of network lab without informing me of anything. So now I get to speak with someone in billing services whenever they decide to operate during normal business hours again since randomly they closed office on Friday's at 11 am? Anyway, don't waste your time here. "

"I have never written a review for a doctor but felt compelled to do so now. Let me start by stating the office staff is very kind and professional. The physical office is dated and feels a bit grimy. The exam room is decorated with computer printouts, one stating "Don't confuse your google search with my medical degree" another stating that cells phones must be completely turned off, not just silenced, or you will be terminated as a patient. Additionally one another poster, on the wall, was of the endocrine system literally dated 1985 and had significant damage to the bottom. Not to mention the noticable bug trap next to the exam table. I should have known then. The PA did the initial intake and asked that I change, leaving undergarments on, into a paper gown and she would knock on a moment. The paper gown was literally too small and left everything exposed. Next thing I know, no knock and the doctor walks in. A little jarring and disrespectful, but ok. The appointment went down hill from there. I explained that I would like to look at alternative options other than a consistent increase to medications. I explained my medical history and family history along with current struggles that brought me to his office. All for nothing. This doctor was dismissive and didn't hear a word I said. He literally stated my BMI to me at least 3 times in the conversation. The final time, my response was plainly: Yes, I know I'm fat, you are not telling me anything I don't know and it's not helpful." He proceeded to dictate to me that he was not only going to double one of my prescriptions but also add another one to the mix. All with no blood test and the front desk confirming that they had not received my medical records. The exact opposite of what I explained I came in for. When I questioned this he said that he would run some tests and we would tweak as necessary. Needless to say, I left without agreeing to anything, not scheduling the tests and will not be back. Shocked and appalled that in 2024 a so called specialist would treat a potential new client so dismissively. He saw fat and thought he had all the answers. Go back to the 1980's Dr Pinnamaneni. This is not how you treat anyone in 2024. Patients have a right to be heard. This guy may have experience, but he also has ego and archaic patriarchal beliefs in treating patients. "

Her bedside manner is excellent and she listens very patiently to get all the information she can from the patient unlike some physicians in our experience who rush. We even tried the practice's tele-appointment service due to COVID and were very pleased. Thank you for making the doc visits always pleasant, I highly recommend Dr. Zamani and their entire practice at Dr. Bloomberg's!"
