"First, doctor asked me what I did - I said I work at Aetna and he said so you can determine how to pay us less? I should never be put in that situation - I am not network or contracting nor should he start a conversation with a new patient this way.
Doctor scheduled a stress test for Thursday, 2 days later at 11:30 with his partner, Dr. Hulse. He texted said Doctor during my visit in front of me to schedule. He said it would be in his office. I told him 3x I had prior commitments on Thursday afternoon and that 11:30 was the absolute latest I could come in for this test. He said ,no problem. As I was checking out, Ron said, Hmmm, Dr. Hulse isn't in until 12 or so on Thursdays. I said, I'm sorry, Dr. MPang told Dr. H, 11:30 was needed. So Ron kept it at 11:30. Later that day, I received a call from a foreign lady who said, Dr. Hulse cannot do at 11:30, the apt needed to be moved to 12:30. I said, no, I already went through this. Why aren't the notes there? She said, I'll call you back, let me talk to Ron at the office. Did not hear back from her by Wednesday afternoon, so I called Ron at the office. Ron once again confirmed, my appointment was scheduled for 11:30 with Dr. Hulse at the office. Within an hour, the foreign lady called me back and said, no the appointment was not going to be at 11:30 she needed to make it 12:30. I said, we went through this yesterday. No. she said, ok, I 'll talk to Ron and call you back first thing Thursday morning to let you know if the appointment is on or off. At 11am today, I had not received a call back from her, so I called the line again, got someone different than Ron and apparently the appointment wasn't showing on my record any longer. Really? So I was looking back at my paperwork and realized that Dr. MPang had falsely written that he had personally discussed with me that I could enroll in the EDI Health Info Portal to review records and such. That is a falsification of records right there. He never told me to present to ER either. That was also falsified in my pt encounter records. He did not discuss at length any of my test results, in fact, I had to ask him if the EKG was ok that he just performed in his office. He did not offer me any information on any suspected problems or issues with my health. That was the third falsification of records he made on my encounter notes. As a result, I have cancelled the other two appointments with this doctor and clinic and will not return at any cost."
