"Dr. Mills made what is considered a dreaded experience for many, into one that was stress-free, comfortable and interesting.\r He instilled confidence in me due to his abilities, by explaining his technique and record of thousands of previous successful procedures. Dr. Mills listened to my concerns and responded with in depth explanations that allayed any hesitance I may have had about the impending Colonoscopy.\r The procedure was pain free, even after waking up in recovery and in the day ahead. He removed a growth that apparently was the cause of a great amount of pain in my digestive track, which had been going for years. I am pain free in that department for the first time in as long as I can remember.\r The staff at Arizona Digestive Health (Central Phoenix – Coronado) was professional and courteous. There is a feeling that they really care for patients and enjoy the role that they play in providing potentially lifesaving care. They added to an air of calm confidence that put my mind at ease for a procedure that I now wish I had undergone long ago.\r "

"Dr. Cruz's staff began with me by referring me to a doctor who did not accept my Advantage plan. It is almost impossible to reach their staff to discuss issues such as this one. From there, the several referrals had similar issues. I'd block out my calendar for tests and procedures to find, day before, again my insurance won't cover the test. Now, a phone call this morning from her office that she is no longer working with my insurance coverage. My advice, find someone else!! She was fine, but her staff was terrible."

"This practice was disorganized, rushed, and careless. I felt like I had walked in to an urgent care clinic complaining of a sore throat instead of a private neurology office complaining of symptoms that had dramatically interrupted my daily life. \r The doctor spent collectively 5 minutes with me over two appointments, didn’t take a complete medical history, and didn’t listen to or write down anything I said. When I returned for a follow up, she didn’t remember who I was or why I had come in the first place and hadn’t reviewed any of the lab results from the test she had ordered. She rushed in and out to get them and then read them out loud to me as she read them the first time. If they had been anything other than normal, I would’ve found out at exactly the same time as her in a rushed and hurried way devoid of care or compassion. She felt she could conclusively rule out/in diagnoses after looking at one test result for 30 seconds.\r The medical assistants didn’t follow through in scheduling, forgot to call in a prescription, and failed to follow up with insurance about the labs that had been ordered and failed to follow up with me about scheduling once the insurance approved. \r When I requested my records be faxed to me or the new doctor I had found, they would only do so if I came in person to fill out a release form. They wouldn’t fax or email me a form. When I arrived the next day, they hadn’t prepared the records. When I got the records, none of the lab results were included and I had to call each place independently to get them. When I read the notes, the doctor had captured a wildly incomplete picture of why I was being seen and had neglected to note or record more than 85% of the symptoms I had been experiencing. \r This whole practice is haphazard and careless. If you are looking for thorough, informed, compassionate care, look elsewhere. "

"Not a good nor bad rating, just an FYI (required to select a rating in order to post a review). I called this location to make an appointment for neurology, operator stated that this location is only for pediatrics. Neurology is at their downtown Phoenix, Deer Valley and Goodyear locations. I don't know what you've experienced but I have been unhappy with the inaccuracy of the information on Aetna's website. If you experience this, please help one another out and post a clarification like this in a review for all our benefit. Thanks. "
